Accessibility Statement

Making this website easier to use for as many people as possible

Accessibility matters to me.

Kanan Coaching works with neurodivergent, gifted, highly sensitive and twice-exceptional people, and I recognise that people experience and navigate websites in different ways.

I want this website to feel clear, usable and welcoming — including for people who use assistive technologies or have different visual, sensory, cognitive or physical access needs.

My approach to accessibility

I aim to make this website as accessible as reasonably possible and to follow recognised web accessibility good practice, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

This includes considering things such as:

  • clear and consistent page structure

  • readable text and sufficient colour contrast

  • meaningful headings and link text

  • keyboard navigation

  • alternative text for meaningful images

  • accessible forms and buttons

  • content that can be enlarged without losing essential information

  • reducing unnecessary complexity wherever possible

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than something I consider finished.

As the website develops, I will continue to review how people experience and use it.

Neurodivergent accessibility

Accessibility isn't only about whether someone can technically access a page.

It's also about how it feels to navigate, understand and process what's there.

Where possible, this website is designed to support different ways of processing information through clear headings, straightforward navigation, descriptive links and content broken into manageable sections.

Not everyone needs information presented in the same way, and accessibility can look different for different people.

If something isn't working for you

Despite efforts to make this website accessible, there may be areas that don't work well for everyone.

If you experience an accessibility barrier, find something difficult to use, or need information from this website in a different format, please let me know.

You don't need to use technical accessibility language or know exactly what has gone wrong.

Just tell me:

  • which page or part of the website you're having difficulty with

  • what you're trying to access or do

  • what would make it easier for you, if you know

I'll do my best to understand the issue and find a reasonable way to help.

Third-party content and services

Some parts of this website may use or link to third-party services, such as booking, email, payment, video or other external platforms.

While I aim to choose services that support a good user experience, I may not have full control over the accessibility of third-party websites, platforms or embedded tools.

If you experience difficulty using one of these services as part of working with Kanan Coaching, please get in touch and I'll do my best to help you find an alternative way forward.

Feedback is welcome

Accessibility needs and technologies continue to evolve.

If there's something that would make this website easier for you to use, you're welcome to tell me.

Sometimes the most useful improvements begin with someone noticing what the rest of us haven't.
